Robert Nairn and Doug Balliett, two of the most electrifying historically-informed double bassists perform back to back to back bass concerti, from Dragonetti on the three string to Sperger on the Viennese, and then a Balliett original, commissioned by the Experiential Orchestra, and tied together with a bass duet by James Blachly.
